I will be teaching Teen Living, which is a course that is designed to help teenagers understand how to live independently. I will also be teaching Personal Finance, this course is designed to teach student how to earn money, spend money, save money, and borrow money in a responsible manner. Restaurant Presentation
Starting in April local business owners will be visiting BC ETC to discuss their business and share their experiences as restaurant business owner. Last year, "Downtown on Main" owner Mr. Weatherington visited our school and shared his journey of becoming the owner of this great restaurant. We welcome community participants to share their success stories at Ed Tech.

Chef Troy
Thursday, April 14, 2011, Chef Troy from Sysco Foods visited Beaufort County Ed Tech Center to demonstrate his culinary skills. He demonstrated to students how to make a nutritious dessert called Napoleon. This dessert was made with light pastry, vanilla yogurt, raspberries, and a hint of mint. This was an excellent opportunity for the students to ask questions about his career and the monetary compensations that chef's can possible receive. BCETC students would like to thank Chef Troy for demonstrating his skills, and Gwen McBride for orchestrating the event and providing students with the great opportunity.
Job Link Representative
Mrs. Wooden Teen Living class would like to thank Danielle Street for coming and discussing with the class Job Skills and what employers expect from you. She also shared with the class the program that she works in called "Youth at Work," and how it will help students from Ages 16-21 gain job expierence.
