Announcements ![]() Restaurant PresentationStarting in April local business owners will be visiting BC ETC to discuss their business and share their experiences as restaurant business owner. Last year, "Downtown on Main" owner Mr. Weatherington visited our school and shared his journey of becoming the owner of this great restaurant. Chef TroyThursday, April 14, 2011, Chef Troy from Sysco Foods visited Beaufort County Ed Tech Center to demonstrate his culinary skills. He demonstrated to students how to make a nutritious dessert called Napoleon. This dessert was made with light pastry, vanilla yogurt, raspberries, and a hint of mint. This was an excellent opportunity for the students to ask questions about his career and the monetary compensations that chef's can possible receive. BCETC students would like to thank Chef Troy for demonstrating his skills, and Gwen McBride for orchestrating the event and providing students with the great opportunity.
